1. Definition of abuse
a) To use wrongly or improperly; misuse alcohol or a privilege.

b) To hurt or injure by maltreatment; ill-use.

c) To force sexual activity on; rape or molest.

d) To assail with contemptuous, coarse, or insulting words; revile.

e) To deceive or trick.

2. Different kinds of abuse

a) Physical mistreatment that leads to physical injury, leaves marks, or causes pain in anyone at any age irrespective of their relationship

b) Sexual contact of any kind between an adult and anyone younger than 18. Also between an older child and younger child, or if sexually overpowered, regardless of age.

c) Emotional destruction - when yelling, anger and verbal cruelty takes place in any relationship.

d) Neglect - when there is a failure to provide enough food, housing, clothes, medical care, or supervision.

e) Bullying - any form of intimidation, threats, or humiliation.

3. What are the results?

a) Damaged people. Destroyed relationships. Bitterness, anger, hurt, frustration and low self esteem.

b) They have trouble sleeping, eating, and concentrating. They may be angry or frightened, or not care anymore. Many distrust others. In many cases physical illness and cancer appears.
