PRAYING GOD'S WILL | FINANCIAL PROBLEMS (4)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Financial Problems

Heavenly Father, it is not Your will that I should have to contend unnecessarily with financial problems. Because I believe strongly in Your word, I present to You as my prayers for me Your very words on this subject. Please honor Your word and release me from any and all financial problems in my life. I pray Your words in Jesus' name. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) Ecclesiastes 2:26 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

b) Proverbs 13:22 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

c) Matthew 6:25 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

d) Matthew 6:31-34 New King James Version (NKJV)

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

e) Philippians 4:19 New King James Version (NKJV)

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
