(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) James 1:25 King James Version (KJV)

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who look into Your perfect law that gives freedom, and abides by it, not being a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, shall be blessed in their deed.

Lord God, cause me to look into Your perfect law that gives freedom, and abide by it.

Lord God, cause me to not be a forgetful hearer, but make me a doer of the work.

b) James 1:26 King James Version (KJV)

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who seem religious, but do not control their tongue, deceive their own heart.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who seem religious, but do not control their tongue, have a vain religion.

Lord God, cause me to not only seek after righteousness, but also cause me to keep control of my tongue.

The End ...
