1. Bible Verses and Quotes

a) God calls his people unto repentance and turn from the wicked ways of this world, so it is important to know the Scriptures and his commands for his people.  

i) Isaiah 30:15

Is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

ii) Luke 5:31-32

Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.  I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." 

iii) Acts 3:19

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 

iv) Acts 5:31

God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.
