1. What does the Book of Proverbs say about Wealth versus Poverty and Debt?

a) 4 Wealth adds many friends, but a poor man is separated from his friend. (Proverbs 19:4)

b) 7 Even the relatives of a poor person have no use for him; no wonder he has no friends. No matter how hard he tries, he cannot win any. (Proverbs 19:7)

c) 17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given. (Proverbs 19:17)

d) 4 The sluggard does not plow after the autumn, so he begs during the harvest and has nothing. (Proverbs  20:4)

e) 5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, but everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty. 6 The acquisition of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor, the pursuit of death. (Proverbs 21:5-6)

f) 13 He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered. (Proverbs 21:13)

g) 17 He who loves pleasure will become a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not become rich. (Proverbs 21:17)

h) 26 He covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and does not spare. (Proverbs 21:26)
