JUSTICE (4)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Topic

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.

2. Justice

a) Wait on God, He will answer you. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 30:18-19, NKJV. “Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him. For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.”

b) We are called to uphold justice for the weak and defenseless. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 82:3-4, NKJV. “Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked.”

c) Don’t sell out, but do what is right. It’s in the Bible, Deuteronomy 16:19, NKJV. “You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.”

d) What you do to others, will fall on you. It’s in the Bible, Galatians 6:7-8, NKJV. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

e) God will bring complete justice when He comes again. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 72:4, NKJV. “He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.”

The End ...
