PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: PHILIPPIANS (13)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Philippians 2:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Lord God, thank You for truth, that by holding fast to the word of life, we can bring rejoicing to those who labored to bring us Your word, in that they did not labor in vain.

Lord God, cause me to hold fast to the word of life, and bring rejoicing to those who labored to bring Your word to me, in that they did not labor in vain.

b) Philippians 3:20-21 King James Version (KJV)

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that your children our citizens of heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Christ will change Your children's vile bodies, to be fashioned like his glorious body.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your Son Jesus Christ, has the power to make all things subject to himself.

Lord God, grant me citizenship, and cause my conversations to be as if I am already in heaven.

Lord God, in Your perfect timing, cause Your Son to fashion my vile body into a glorious body.

The End ...
