HOW DOES NUMBER 23 COME ABOUT?

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. How does Number 23 come about?

a) On 29th October 2015 early morning @4.30 am, the Lord clearly showed me Number 23. It was so clear that I was wondering what He is trying to say.

b) Here is some information pertaining to Number 23.

2. Number TWENTY-THREE in the Bible

a) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1)

b) The number twenty-three doesn't occur that often in the Bible. When it does, it points to prosperity and plenty.

c) The prosperity can be in a physical, financial or spiritual sense. The positional aspect of twenty-three is also important. For example, the twenty-third verse of Genesis 1 completes the fifth day of creation when God says to the creatures of the earth, "Be fruitful and multiply."

d) The most familiar "twenty-third" in the Bible is Psalm 23 which definitely speaks of prosperity based on God's provisions.

e) From the beginning of Psalm 23 to the end, we are assured that we shall not want because we have everything we need. We are promised green pastures, still waters, the restoration of our soul, a path of righteousness, a table of abundance in the presence of our enemies, a head anointed with oil, a cup that runneth over, goodness and mercy and a dwelling place in the house of the Lord all because of God's grace and His love for us.

f) When you look to David's shepherd of Psalm 23 and welcome Him as your own shepherd, you can say like David, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."

3. There are 23 covenant blessings in Leviticus 26:4-12

Leviticus 26:4-12 (NIV)
4 I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. 5 Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land.

6 “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. 7 You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. 8 Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.

9 “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. 10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. 11 I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you. 12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

4. What is God saying?

a) Firstly, we ought to take heed of the significance in Number 23. It  doesn't occur that often in the Bible but when it does, it points to prosperity and plenty. The prosperity and plenty are based on God's provisions. It covers all physical, financial and spiritual aspects pertaining to our life.

b) How? We need to trust and believe in Him. At the appointed time, there is going to be a smooth transfer of wealth per Ecclesiastes 2:26:

Ecclesiastes 2:26 King James Version (KJV)
26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God.

c) Secondly, we need to loudly declare His Word in Leviticus 26:4-12 and continually claim all the 23 covenant blessings due to us. In His appointed time, all of these blessings will be released to us if we do not lose hearts but continue steadfastly in it.

d) Finally, the date 23rd November 2015 (Monday) may be significant. Something at large is going to take place particularly on this date! Please watch and pray!

The End ...
