TESTIMONY TIME!

1. What is a testimony?

a) A testimony is simply honoring the Lord by bearing witness to others about His work in your own life.

2. Why testify?

a) The more you testify and give praise reports about the wonderful acts of God, the more it draws attention to His greatness; causing the world to inquire about Him. What is evident is that you know that the very act of testifying to God’s wondrous deeds lead many to look into the Church and inquire about Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ.  

b) When God does something, you should not keep silent. You should publish and proclaim what God has done. You should run and tell everyone you know. You should tell people of His Power and Love. Do you think that in the Old and New Testaments when God did something that people held back and hid God's work? No, they ran and told people in far distant lands and spread the Word! God wants you to spread the Word and share the Word, not hold it in. Yoe should be hot on fire for the Lord, moving, excited, sharing, doing the work He wants you to do, helping the poor and needy, NOT being lukewarm sitting still doing nothing. It is because you were lukewarm and did nothing to reach out to others and because of your pride that the Lord did Spit you out of His Mouth. You should exalt the Name of the Lord.

3. Why publish your testimony?

a) Your testimony is a powerful way to testify of God’s goodness, mercy, and grace.
