CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST: THE MEDIATOR OF A BETTER COVENANT

1. Christ Our High Priest
a) We consider "the apostle and high priest of our confession, Christ Jesus" (Hebrews 3:1). In the book of Hebrews, we look at one of the 9 points about Christ's priesthood.
2. The Mediator Of A Better Covenant
a) He is a priest who is the mediator "of a better covenant" (Hebrews 8:6, Hebrews 12:24, 1 Timothy 2:5-6). God's law now comes to us through Christ and this law is covered by grace through Christ's sacrifice and priesthood.
