PLACES IN ACTS: SIDON

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Sidon

i) A major city in Phonecia along the southern coast of Syria.

ii) A rival seaport to Tyre to the south.

iii) Paul visited Sidon on his way to Rome (Acts 27:3).

iv) The people of Sidon were involved with those of Tyre in an argument with Herod (Acts 12:19-20).
