BIBLE PROPHECIES | JESUS (6)

1. Jesus

a) JESUS is acknowledged by Christians as the Son of God and the only path to salvation. Jesus was born about 2000 years ago in Bethlehem. Jesus not only prophesied, but he is the fulfillment of many Messianic prophecies. Jesus was also unique in that he prophesied about his own life and about the impact that his words would have on the world. He said that His words would never be forgotten and that they would be taught to people everywhere in the world. Today, we can see with our own eyes, that Jesus' words are the best known of any person in the history. We can also see that there are Christians in virtually every part of the world. In fact, Christianity is the first worldwide religion.

b) Bible prophecies are listed below.

b) "Of the hundreds of millions of people who have ever lived, the words of only a small percentage are remembered beyond the generation that follows them. But, 2,000 years later, after Jesus had spoken the prophecy in Luke 21:33, the words of Jesus are everywhere, having been taught to people all over the world."

c) The Bible, which records the words of Jesus, is the most published and most widely circulated book in history. By some estimates, more than 6 billion copies of the Bible have been printed. Biblical scripture has been translated into more than 2,400 languages, according to the United Bible Societies.

d) Of all the people who have ever lived, can you think of a single person who could have made this claim more effectively than Jesus - that his words would never be forgotten?
